Hotel Description
Honestly, when I first walked up to Suite 842 on Rue de la Verrerie, I wasn’t expecting much – you know how these vacation rental names can be a bit over the top? But this place actually delivers on that whole “Vue Mer” promise, and then some. The terrace is what really gets you – I mean, you’re literally looking out over the Mediterranean while you’re having your morning coffee, and it’s not some tiny sliver of blue between buildings either. It’s a proper sea view that makes you understand why people fall head over heels for the French Riviera.
The location is sort of perfect if you know Cannes at all. Rue de la Verrerie puts you right in that sweet spot where you’re close enough to walk to the Palais des Festivals (maybe ten minutes if you’re not rushing), but you’re not dealing with the absolute chaos of La Croisette during festival season. The beach access they mention? It’s legit – you can actually get to the sand without having to navigate through the whole tourist maze, which honestly saved me so much time and frustration. And about that parking situation – look, if you’ve ever tried to park anywhere near the center of Cannes, you’ll appreciate that they’ve sorted this out for you. It’s not glamorous, but it works, and that’s what matters when you’re hauling luggage around in 30-degree heat.
What I really loved about staying here was how the air conditioning actually worked properly (you’d be surprised how often that’s not the case), and the terrasse becomes this perfect evening spot once the day crowds thin out. You can hear the waves if you listen for them, but you’re far enough from the main strip that you’re not getting the late-night party noise that can make other places pretty miserable if you’re trying to sleep. The suite itself feels more spacious than most places you’ll find at this price point – there’s room to actually unpack and settle in rather than living out of a suitcase for your whole stay. I spent way more time than planned just sitting out there in the evenings, watching the light change over the water and feeling like I’d stumbled onto something the tour groups hadn’t discovered yet. It’s the kind of place that makes you want to come back to Cannes, which – trust me – isn’t something I thought I’d ever say.
Cannes hotels range from charming boutique properties in the historic Le Suquet district to elegant palace hotels and modern luxury accommodations along La Croisette Boulevard.

Čudovit razgled in balkon je fenomenalen, stanovanje je veliko in je notri vse kar potrebuješ. Lokacija top. Vsekakor priporočam. Tudi zelo skrben lastnik.
What could be improved: V bistvu je bilo vse super. Edino krpe za brisanje posode nisem našla, vendar je to malenkost.
