The two-bedroom setup is surprisingly spacious for Cannes standards. I’ve stayed in plenty of cramped apartments here (the city’s not exactly known for generous floor plans), but these rooms actually breathe a little. The kitchen’s functional – not Instagram-worthy, but you can definitely make your morning coffee without playing Tetris with the appliances. What I really appreciated was the fact that the bedrooms are on opposite ends, so if you’re traveling with friends or family, you’re not hearing every conversation through paper-thin walls. The building itself has that slightly worn charm you find all over this part of Cannes – it’s seen some years, but it’s solid and well-maintained where it counts.

Location-wise, you’re in the sweet spot. Sure, you’ll hear some street noise (it’s the city center, what do you expect?), but it dies down after the dinner crowds thin out. The morning market on Forville is maybe a five-minute stroll – I’d grab fresh tomatoes and cheese there most mornings. And here’s something the booking sites won’t tell you: there’s actually decent parking nearby if you’re driving, which in Cannes is like finding a unicorn. The building’s nestled between the tourist chaos of La Croisette and the more residential feel of the upper streets, so you get the best of both worlds without feeling like you’re camping in Times Square. During festival season, expect things to get pretty intense around here, but the rest of the year it’s got this nice lived-in energy where you feel like you’re staying in an actual neighborhood rather than a tourist bubble. It’s not luxury in the marble-and-gold sense, but it’s comfortable, practical, and puts you right where you want to be in Cannes.
