But don’t let the clunky title fool you, because this place on Avenue Reine Astrid is actually a pretty solid find in one of Cannes’ quieter residential pockets.

The apartment sits in Pointe Croisette, which – if you know Cannes at all – puts you close enough to the action without dealing with the tourist chaos that swarms around the main Croisette strip. You’re maybe a 15-minute walk to the Palais des Festivals, but honestly, the best part is you can duck back here when the crowds get overwhelming (and trust me, they will). The terrace is where this place really shines – I mean, you’ve got palm trees dotting the view and you can actually hear yourself think, unlike some of the beachfront places where the street noise never stops. The setup works well for families or couples traveling together since the two bedrooms give everyone space to spread out, and having two full bathrooms is clutch when you’re getting ready for dinner reservations.

What I appreciated most was the practical stuff that actually matters when you’re staying somewhere for more than a night. The kitchen’s properly equipped – not just a mini-fridge and a prayer – so you can grab fresh stuff from the Marché Forville and actually cook if you want a break from restaurant prices. Parking in this area isn’t the nightmare it is closer to the port, though you’ll still want to get specific instructions from the host. The 7.5 rating feels about right – it’s not going to blow your mind with luxury touches, but everything works and the location gives you that local neighborhood feel while keeping the beach and the festival action totally accessible. During Cannes Film Festival or the summer peak, you know what, this kind of residential spot is gold because you get to escape the madness without sacrificing convenience.

  We visited the same place second time, it is the best location in palm beach, close to beaches, shop, pharmacy, restaurants and calmer then centre.
  
  What could be improved: I missed a better towel dryer on the terrace and a hair dryer at bathroom.

  The stay was great until two weeks after checkout when we received a fraudulent security deposit charge of 500€ from the owners for damages that we didn’t do, attributed to animals in the property that we never had. No issues were identified during a thorough inspection of the property at checkout by the owner. No follow-up communication from owner. Beware! Avoid!
  
  What could be improved: The owner uses Swikly, a security deposit service to claim false damages weeks after checking out. Swikly facilitates fraud and scams. Avoid this rental company and this property. Avoid any owner that uses Swikly. To be fair to booking.com, they have nothing to do with this and have been helpful.
