So I stumbled across APPART’ CANNES during a last-minute trip to the French Riviera, and honestly? I’m kind of glad I didn’t book one of those massive resort hotels on the Croisette. This place sits in Le Brasilia building on Avenue St Jean, which — if you know Cannes at all — puts you in this sweet spot where you’re close enough to walk to the action but far enough away that you’re not dealing with the constant parade of tourists and street performers until 2 AM.

The thing about these apartment-style places is they can go either way, you know? But this one actually gets it right. First off, the 9.5 rating isn’t just people being generous — when I walked in, everything felt… well, like someone who actually travels designed it. The kitchen had proper knives (not those sad plastic things), and there was enough counter space to actually make breakfast without playing Tetris with your coffee cup and pastry. I mean, it’s still a 3-star place, so don’t expect marble everywhere, but the details that matter for a longer stay are all there. The shower pressure was surprisingly good, which — let’s be honest — can be hit or miss in older French buildings.

What really sold me on the location was discovering that little bakery just down the street that opens at 6:30 AM. You can grab fresh croissants and walk to the Palais des Festivals in about fifteen minutes, or head the other direction toward the train station if you want to day-trip to Nice or Monaco. The Avenue St Jean area has this residential feel that makes you feel less like a tourist checking items off a list. There’s a small market nearby where locals actually shop, and the parking situation is way more manageable than closer to the beach — though you’ll still want to book a spot in advance during festival season. I stayed in late September and found the whole neighborhood had this relaxed, end-of-summer vibe where restaurant terraces weren’t packed and you could actually hear yourself think. The apartment itself stays pretty quiet, even with the windows open, since you’re set back from the main traffic routes. Honestly, after a few days I found myself looking forward to coming back in the evenings instead of dreading a cramped hotel room. It’s the kind of place where you can pick up groceries and wine and have a proper evening in, then wake up and walk to the beach when you feel like it.

    Accommodation in a quiet and peaceful part of Cannes. We parked right in front of the apartment building entrance. The apartment is spacious and very well-equipped, including a washing machine, dishwasher, and a well-stocked kitchen. The bathroom was spacious, and the beds were really comfortable. The hosts were friendly and helpful. Grocery stores are within a 10-minute walk. The city center was really close too. The bus stop to the beautiful beaches was right in front of the building. This charming place met all our expectations for a great family holiday. There was truly nothing we missed.

    You can find all the commodities and comforts like at home. The apartment was really clean. Caroline, the house owner, was very nice and kind. The position of the apartment is excellent because it is very closed to the city center and the port. It is also close to the supermarket. I would suggest this house for your stay in Cannes.

    Sehr nette Vermieterin, die auch während des Aufenthalts nachfragte, ob alles passt. Wasser, Wein und Blumen zur Begrüßung! Sauberes, ruhiges und gut gepflegtes Appartement. Bus fährt direkt vor der Haustür ab. Supermarkt fußläufig. Parkplätze kostenlos vor dem Haus und in der Umgebung. Wir waren bereits zum 2. Mal dort. Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Waschmaschine ist sauber und gut gepflegt, genauso wie die Spülmaschine etc.. Sogar ein Sonnenschirm für den Strand ist vorhanden.

    La localisation à 10 minutes à pied de tous les commerces, de la gare et de la Croisette. Appartement décoré avec goût, calme, très bien équipé et très propre. La propriétaire est très sympathique et à votre écoute, nous reviendrons car nous avons beaucoup aimé. Nous vous conseillons cette location si vous allez sur la côte d’Azur.
