Appartement CANNES IMPERIAL Pointe Croisette
Honestly, I wasn’t expecting much when I first walked up to this apartment building on Boulevard Eugene Tripet – I mean, it’s tucked away from all the Croisette madness, which actually turned out to be exactly what I needed. The Appartement CANNES Imperial is one of those places that surprises you, you know? It sits right at Pointe Croisette, so you’re literally at the tip of the famous boulevard, but somehow it feels like you’ve found this quiet pocket that most tourists completely miss.
What really got me was stepping out onto that little stretch of coast in the morning – there’s this perfect walking path that curves around the point, and you can actually see the whole sweep of Cannes bay without fighting through crowds of people trying to get the same Instagram shot. The apartment itself has that classic French Riviera thing going on, but it’s not trying too hard, if that makes sense. The rooms are spacious enough that you don’t feel like you’re living in a hotel shoebox, and there’s this attention to detail that you notice after a day or two – like how the windows actually block out the street noise (which isn’t much anyway, since you’re away from the main drag), and the kitchen is set up like someone who actually cooks designed it, not just threw in some appliances to check a box.
I spent most evenings walking back from dinner in town along the waterfront – it’s maybe a fifteen-minute stroll to the Palais des Festivals area, but you’re going the opposite direction from where everyone else is rushing, so it feels almost meditative. The beach access right there is incredible too, especially if you’re staying during shoulder season when you can actually find a spot to spread out. What I loved most, though, was how the staff seemed to genuinely care about making sure everything worked smoothly – not in that over-the-top concierge way, but more like they wanted you to discover the same things about the area that they appreciate. They pointed me toward this little morning market that happens just a few blocks inland on Tuesdays and Fridays, which I never would have found otherwise. The whole experience felt less like staying in tourist accommodation and more like borrowing a friend’s perfectly located apartment – one who happens to have excellent taste and knows all the local secrets you’d never figure out on your own.
