You know what caught me off guard about this place? The moment I stepped onto that balcony and saw the Mediterranean stretching out beyond the palm trees – I mean, I’ve stayed in plenty of Cannes apartments, but this view actually made me pause my unpacking. The Bel Appartement sits on Avenue du Docteur Raymond Picaud, which honestly sounds more intimidating than it is. It’s this quiet residential street that’s far enough from the Croisette chaos but close enough that you can walk to the beach in about ten minutes (I timed it – wore the wrong shoes one day).

The apartment itself has that lived-in French charm that you either love or find a bit dated. The kitchen’s small but functional – I managed to make coffee every morning and even attempted some pasta one evening with groceries from the Monoprix down the hill. Speaking of that hill, yeah, there’s a bit of an incline getting back to the place, but it’s nothing crazy unless you’re hauling heavy luggage in July heat. The AC works well enough, though the bedroom can get a touch warm in the afternoons. What I really appreciated was how quiet it gets at night – you’re tucked away from the tourist mayhem but still hearing those distant sounds of Cannes nightlife if you leave the windows open. The Wi-Fi was solid, which mattered since I was trying to work a few mornings before heading out.

Here’s the thing about the location that the photos don’t really show you – you’re actually positioned perfectly for exploring beyond just the famous beach strips. There’s this little bakery about three blocks down that locals hit up for morning pastries (way better than the touristy spots near the Palais), and the bus stop for getting to Antibes or Nice is practically around the corner. The 8.1 rating makes sense to me – it’s not luxury, but it delivers on what matters. The check-in was straightforward, parking… well, that’s Cannes for you, but there are spots if you circle around a bit. I’d definitely stay here again, especially if I wanted that authentic French apartment feel without paying Croisette prices. Plus, honestly, ending each day watching the sunset from that terrace with a glass of wine from the Casino supermarket – that’s the kind of simple pleasure that makes a trip memorable.

  Amazing apartment! We've enjoyed every day spent there. Wonderful location and fantastic sea few. Few minutes walk to the beach. Nice neighborhood. Apartment itself is super clean and cozy, there is every single thing you need during the stay. Great host and amazing experience overall. Will recommend the apartment to all my friends.

  Неймовірний панорамний вид на море. Близькість до гарного пляжу, максимум 5 хвилин пішки. Ліфт працює.
  Наявність кондиціонера. Окрема подяка за те, що був включений кондиціонер по приїзду. Було прохолодно і комфортно.
  Поруч знаходиться станція TER, що дуже зручно, так як вагони тут ще майже порожні, коли їдеш в Ніццу або Монако, наприклад.
  Ввечері за вікном- тиша, бо поруч немає розважальних закладів і ресторанів.
  Білизна і рушники – білі і чисті.
  
  What could be improved: Перш за все не сподобалося те, що ключі від квартири треба забирати і віддавати за іншою адресою. А це 20 хвилин пішки. Або можна доїхати на автобусі. Цей момент важливо знати заздалегідь, і бути до цього готовим. Бо із валізами і дитиною це не зручно зовсім.
  Рано вранці за вікном шумно.
  Стан квартири- потребує косметичного ремонту, бо місцями відпадає кахель.
  Як побажання, було б дуже зручно мати в квартирі парасолю від сонця для пляжу. Бо коли їдеш без автомобіля, то взяти немає можливості із собою, а купувати немає сенсу.
  Власник (управляюча компанія) відповідає довго або зовсім не відповідає, на жаль.
  Однак, не зважаючи на деякі мінуси, наше перебування було чудовим. Дякуємо за гостинність і довіру!

  Le logement est adapté au tarif bas: rien d'exceptionnel mais fait l'affaire. Le rapport qualité prix est donc pertinent.

  25 minuters promenad längs stranden in till resturanger i Cannes.

  What could be improved: Très abîmé, sale de bain et cuisine très très vieux et sales, des travaux de rénovation sont indispensables ! Attention les clefs ne sont pas sur place, il faut aller les chercher à 1,7 km ce qui fait 25 minutes à pieds
