Hotel Description
Look, I’ll be straight with you about Cannes Blue Riviera Luxe – it’s one of those places that completely caught me off guard in the best possible way. When I first walked up to 14 Avenue Jean de Noailles, honestly, I wasn’t expecting much from a 3-star property. I mean, this is Cannes we’re talking about, where hotels can charge ridiculous amounts just for being within walking distance of the Croisette. But this place? It’s got something special going on.
The location is actually pretty brilliant if you know Cannes at all. You’re tucked away on this quieter street that runs parallel to all the main action – close enough that you can stumble back from a late dinner at one of those waterfront restaurants in about ten minutes, but far enough that you’re not dealing with the constant buzz of traffic and tourists. The walk down to the Palais des Festivals takes maybe twelve minutes if you’re not in a rush, and you’ll pass some genuinely good local spots along the way (there’s this little bakery on Rue d’Antibes that does croissants that’ll ruin you for life). What really sold me, though, was how the staff seemed to actually know the neighborhood. The front desk guy – I think his name was Laurent – pointed me toward this tiny wine bar off Rue Meynadier that I never would’ve found otherwise, and honestly, it ended up being one of my favorite discoveries of the trip.
The rooms themselves have this comfortable, lived-in feeling that’s hard to find in a lot of French hotels. Nothing too fancy, but everything works the way it should, and there’s enough space to actually unpack your suitcase without playing tetris with your luggage. The beds are surprisingly good – I’m talking properly supportive mattresses, not those saggy things you sometimes get stuck with. You know what I really appreciated? The windows actually open (revolutionary concept, right?), and on the upper floors, you can catch glimpses of the Mediterranean between the buildings if you crane your neck just right. The bathrooms are small but functional, with decent water pressure and those little touches that show someone’s paying attention – good towels, toiletries that don’t smell like industrial disinfectant. One thing to note: if you’re a super light sleeper, ask for a room facing away from the street. It’s not terrible, but there’s the occasional delivery truck early in the morning. The staff is genuinely helpful about room preferences if you mention it when booking. Overall, it’s the kind of place where you feel like you’re staying somewhere real rather than just passing through another anonymous hotel room – and in Cannes, during festival season especially, that’s worth its weight in gold.

The flat is well appointed, very spacious and the views are off the charts gorgeous! I loved it so much that I'm looking at buying a similar one for myself now, I'm not kidding! It's a short walk to the beach and there's a shortcut through their little town to get into downtown Cannes, like 10 min. Weird hectic schedule but the house were amazing and accommodated everything that we wanted. Above and beyond! It's the only place I'd stay in Cannes, until I find one for myself!
What could be improved: The only knock on the building is that the community pool doesn't have any loungers or tables.
