You know what struck me first about this little studio? The name is a mouthful – Cannes Pointe Croisette studio plage 2 min à Pieds – but honestly, it’s just telling you exactly what you’re getting. And that two-minute walk to the beach? They’re not exaggerating. I timed it because, well, I’m that kind of person, and it was actually closer to 90 seconds if you walk at a decent pace from 12 Rue du Cros Vieil.

The Pointe Croisette area is sort of this quieter pocket that a lot of tourists miss – they get so focused on the main Croisette strip with all the fancy hotels that they don’t realize this little neighborhood exists. It’s got this residential feel, which means you’re not dealing with the constant buzz of the main tourist drag, but you’re still ridiculously close to everything. The studio itself is pretty straightforward – I mean, it’s a 3-star place, so don’t expect marble bathrooms or anything fancy. But the owners clearly get what matters: the bed was comfortable (crucial after long days exploring), the kitchenette actually had everything you need if you want to grab groceries from the Monoprix down the street, and the whole place felt clean and well-maintained.

What I really appreciated was how quiet it gets at night. During festival season – and honestly, there’s always some kind of festival happening in Cannes – the main hotels can get pretty chaotic. Here, you get proper sleep, which is gold when you’re trying to make the most of your time on the Côte d’Azur. The 8.7 rating makes sense once you’ve stayed there; it’s not trying to be something it’s not, but it delivers on the basics really well. The check-in was smooth (the host actually knows the neighborhood and gave me some solid restaurant recommendations), and parking… well, it’s Cannes, so parking is always going to be a bit of a puzzle, but they help you figure it out. The morning light in the studio is lovely too – there’s something about that Mediterranean sun that just hits different, and you’ll definitely notice it when you’re having your coffee before heading out to claim your spot on the beach.

  Situazione in una posizione molto bella, anche se non affaccia proprio sul mare ma comunque lo si può raggiungere in 2 minuti a piedi. Si trova al quinto piano raggiungibile in ascensore o tramite scale. Il parcheggio fronte casa è gratuito ma purtroppo abbiamo trovato lavori di restauro e abbiamo parcheggiato a 200 metri in grandissimo parcheggio dove la sera é quasi completamente vuoto. Non so i supermercati o i mezzi pubblici come funzionino, avendo l'auto ci spostavamo. Appartamento monolocale ma dotato di tutto il necessario, anche di una macchinetta da caffè a capsule e bollitore. Molto silenzioso e non abbiamo avuto nessun genere di problema. Sistema check-in/checkout molto comodo tramite cassaforte a combinazione, istruzioni chiare e dettagliate, siamo stati bene.
