It’s actually tucked away on avenue du Docteur Raymond in a way that makes you feel like you’ve discovered some local secret, even though you’re literally a ten-minute walk from the Palais des Festivals. I mean, most visitors get stuck in those cookie-cutter hotels right on La Croisette paying tourist prices, but this place – honestly, it’s got that authentic Cannes residential vibe that locals appreciate.

The duplex layout is pretty clever, actually. Downstairs feels open and airy with these decent-sized windows that let in that particular Mediterranean light (you know the kind – makes everything look like it belongs in a magazine). Upstairs is where things get cozy, and I really liked how they’ve managed the space without making it feel cramped. The neighborhood itself is refreshingly quiet compared to the chaos down by the port – you can actually sleep with windows open most of the year, which is something you can’t say about places closer to the main drag. Parking’s not terrible either, though during Festival season… well, let’s just say you’ll want to claim your spot early and guard it with your life.

What really sells this place for me is the balance – you’re close enough to walk to Rue d’Antibes for shopping or grab dinner at those little bistros locals actually frequent (there’s this amazing place called L’Affable just a few streets over that tourists never find), but far enough from the madness that you can come home and decompress. The building itself has that classic French apartment feel without being stuffy about it. Three stars might sound modest, but honestly, I’d rather have a well-maintained, thoughtfully arranged space like this than some over-designed hotel suite that costs twice as much. Plus, having a proper duplex means you can spread out – whether you’re here for business during one of the conferences or just want to use Cannes as a base for exploring the coast. The train station’s walkable if you want to day-trip to Nice or Monaco, and the beach… well, it’s Cannes, so even the public stretches are pretty spectacular.
