CROISETTE BEACH – Modern 2 Bdrs Best Location!
Look, I’ve stayed in my fair share of Cannes apartments over the years, and this place on Rue Velasquez honestly surprised me. You know how most vacation rentals either nail the location or the actual living space but rarely both? Well, CROISETTE BEACH actually pulls off that tricky balance pretty well.
The two-bedroom setup is genuinely modern – I mean, not just “we threw some IKEA furniture in here and called it contemporary” modern, but thoughtfully designed with clean lines and everything actually works. The kitchen has proper counter space (you’d be amazed how many French rentals skimp on this), and the bedrooms don’t feel like afterthoughts squeezed into weird corners. What really got me though was stepping out onto that little balcony in the morning with my coffee and realizing just how perfectly positioned this place is. You’re literally a three-minute walk to the beach – not “beach adjacent” like half these places claim, but actual sand-between-your-toes close. And here’s the thing about Pointe Croisette that most people don’t realize until they’re there: you get all the glamour of being near the famous Croisette promenade without the constant circus of tourists stumbling around with their phones out.
The neighborhood itself has this lived-in feel that I really appreciate. There’s a little boulangerie just around the corner where the owner actually remembers your order after a couple days, and honestly, that morning routine of grabbing fresh croissants became one of my favorite parts of staying here. The apartment stays surprisingly quiet too – I was worried about street noise since it’s so central, but the windows do their job well. Parking can be a bit of a dance (it’s Cannes, after all), but there’s usually something within a block or two if you’re patient. The 9.4 rating makes total sense once you’re settled in – it’s one of those places where all the small details just work together. The Wi-Fi doesn’t cut out during video calls, the shower has actual water pressure, the air conditioning doesn’t sound like a helicopter landing on the roof. I mean, these things shouldn’t be remarkable, but anyone who’s done the vacation rental roulette knows they absolutely are. You’re also perfectly positioned to walk to all the good stuff – the Palais des Festivals is maybe ten minutes on foot, and you can easily stroll to Port Canto when you want something a bit quieter than the main drag. It’s the kind of place where you’ll find yourself extending your stay if you can swing it.
