Look, I’ll be straight with you about this place on Rue Jean Jaurès – it’s one of those spots that doesn’t look like much from the street, but honestly? That’s kind of perfect for Cannes. You know how the city center can feel completely overrun during festival season or peak summer, well, this little setup gives you all the access without the tourist circus right outside your door.

The AC situation is actually a godsend if you’re visiting between June and September – I mean, Cannes gets properly hot, and you’ll appreciate having a cool place to retreat to after walking around all day. The whole IMMOGROOM concept is pretty straightforward, no fancy lobby or concierge in bow ties, but the rooms are clean and functional with that slightly modern European vibe. What I really liked was how quiet it gets at night, even though you’re basically in the heart of everything. Rue Jean Jaurès has enough local life to feel authentic (there’s this great little boulangerie two doors down that opens ridiculously early), but it’s not one of those streets where delivery trucks are rumbling past at 6 AM.

Here’s the thing about the location that sold me – when they say 5 minutes to the beaches, they actually mean it. Not “5 minutes if you’re an Olympic sprinter,” but a genuine easy walk down to the Croisette. And honestly, being 8 minutes from the Palais des Festivals means you can pop back to your room if you need to change or grab something, which is clutch if you’re doing the festival circuit or just want to freshen up between beach time and evening plans. The walk takes you right through some of the more interesting side streets where locals actually shop and eat, so you get a feel for real Cannes instead of just the polished tourist version. I found myself grabbing coffee at this tiny café on Rue d’Antibes most mornings – you know, the kind of place where the owner remembers your order after two days. The whole area has that lived-in Mediterranean energy, especially in the early evening when people are heading home from work and the light gets all golden and romantic. Sure, it’s not going to win any design awards, and the shower pressure could be better, but for the price point and location? You’d be hard-pressed to find something better that doesn’t cost twice as much just for having a fancy name.

  Everything. The apartment was as it was presented.
  
  What could be improved: To have to go to two places to get the key to enter was a little problematic. That could have also been clearer up front.
  
  The only other thing were the three flights of stairs but again that was clear up front so expectations were said well.

  Difficult to check in and receiving emails instructing us to take photos and being charged for early check in or late check out given how much the apartment was for 2 nights
  Being charged in different stages for our stay and the agency not having secure payment platform so my payment was declined but telling me my booking would be cancelled if I didn't pay £1.60 city tax – when I had already paid over 1000 Euros for a 2 night stay.

  Great location close to all shops and train station and within 10 minutes from the beach. Property is really nicely done and has everything you need and beds were comfortable. Julie from customer service team was really helpful.

  Klucz był umieszczony w skrytce w centrum miasta, co znacznie skróciło czas zameldowania. Apartament bardzo czysty i przyjemny, w centrum, co było dużą zaletą.

  Apartament dobrze wyposażony. Klimatyzacja w pokoju i salonie. Parasol plażowy na stanie. Niedaleko do plaży. Sklep i piekarnia na przeciwko, za rogiem rano targowisko gdzie można kupić świeże owoce i warzywa.

  NICHT für Familien geeignet. Enge schmale Wendeltreppe, Wohnung im 3 Stock. Beim Ankunft oder Abreise kein Parking, man muss Hoffen das ein Parkplatz vor der Unterkunft frei ist. Ansonsten kann man in der Straße nicht parken, da abgesperrt duch Pollern. Keine Möglichkeit um Kinderwagen abzustellen!!! Wohnung in einem katastrophalen Zustand. Bad stinkt, kaum Handtücher. Kleine Fenster. Im Schlafzimmer der Garderobenschrank, Tür geht nicht zu. Schlafsofa ist eine Zumutung. Küche ist OK, gut ausgestattet.
  Eingangstür geht sehr schlecht auf da der Boden uneben ist. Waschmaschine läuft aus.
  Im Wohnzimmer schlafen ist unmöglich da von der Straße und der Umgebung sehr laut.
  Schlafzimmer sehr eng. Keine Möglichkeit Handtücher zu trocken!!!
