Hotel Description
You know what caught me off guard about this place? Walking up to 42 Rue Jean Jaures, I was expecting some fancy hotel lobby – turns out it’s actually a residential building with this gorgeous apartment on the third floor. I mean, when you see “luxury flat” in the listing, you sort of wonder if it’ll live up to the hype, but honestly, this one does.
The location is pretty much perfect if you know Cannes at all. Jean Jaures runs parallel to the Croisette, which means you’re literally a two-minute walk from all that beachfront glamour, but you’re staying where actual people live – not in some tourist bubble. There’s this little boulangerie right around the corner that locals hit up every morning (the pain au chocolat is ridiculous), and you can actually hear the market setting up on Forville if your windows are open. The three bedrooms are properly spacious – like, you can actually unpack your suitcase and move around, which is more than I can say for most places in this part of town. The two bathrooms thing is clutch when you’re traveling with friends or family, because let’s be real, nobody wants to wait in line for a shower after a day at the beach.
What really sells this place though is how it feels lived-in rather than sterile. The kitchen actually has proper pots and pans (not just two bent spoons and a rusty can opener), and there’s this little balcony where you can have your morning coffee while watching the city wake up. The building itself has that classic French apartment vibe – you know, the kind with the heavy wooden door downstairs and marble steps that echo when you walk up. Parking can be a bit of a nightmare in this area during festival season – I’d honestly just plan to walk everywhere or use the buses, which run pretty frequently along the coast. The apartment gets some street noise since Jean Jaures is fairly busy, but it’s not unbearable, and everything quiets down after the restaurants close. Check-in was surprisingly smooth for a private rental – the owner actually met me there and walked me through everything, which was way better than hunting around for some hidden key box. One thing to note: if you’re here in July or August, book way ahead because places like this get snapped up fast, and for good reason.

We recently stayed in this wonderful appartement right in the center of Cannes and we have only positive things to say about it. From the start, we were greeted by a very friendly host. His hospitality and responsiveness made out stay truly special.
The flat is spacious and the rooms are impeccable and clean. Each room has an AC and double glazed windows. I really like the large dining table in the living room and a fully equipped kitchen, this allows you a lovely stay in when you don’t feel like eating out.
There are 3 double bedrooms but also a comfy sofa bed in the living room.
The location of the flat is perfect, short walk to the beach and the palais of festivals.

Exceptional property! Better than any hotel. So luxury comfortable, I will definitely be back. There is enough space for 8 people, so it felt like a castle on my own :). The host is really sweet and accommodating and allowed me to check out at 1pm and to store my luggage in the flat as I had a late flight. Definitely recommend!
