Modern 2-Bedroom Stunning Sea View on La Croisette
Look, I’ve stayed at plenty of places along La Croisette, and this apartment honestly surprised me in the best way possible. You know how most rental descriptions oversell everything? Well, this one actually delivers on that “stunning sea view” promise – I mean, you’re literally looking straight out at the Mediterranean from both bedrooms, and the living area opens right onto it too. The location at number 81 puts you in that sweet spot where you’re still on the famous boulevard but not drowning in the Festival crowd chaos (though honestly, even during Festival season, it’s manageable here).
What really got me was how modern everything feels inside – and I don’t mean that sterile, show-home modern that makes you afraid to touch anything. The kitchen actually works for real cooking, which is rare in Cannes rentals, and the bathrooms have decent water pressure. Small thing, but you’ll appreciate it after a long day on the beach. The building itself is well-maintained, and the elevator works (trust me, this matters when you’re hauling luggage and beach gear). Parking can be tricky around here – there’s no dedicated spot, but the public garage at Palais des Festivals is maybe a ten-minute walk, and honestly, you’ll probably end up strolling La Croisette so much that you barely use the car anyway.
Here’s what I really love about this spot though – you’re close enough to walk to all the good stuff (the morning market at Marché Forville is like fifteen minutes on foot, and you’ll pass some excellent bakeries), but when you want to escape the tourist madness, you can just retreat to that balcony with a bottle of rosé and watch the yachts. The sound of the waves is actually audible at night, which sounds cheesy but it’s genuinely nice. The neighborhood has that residential feel once you step off the main drag – real people live here, not just tourists. Oh, and if you’re planning to hit the beaches, the private beach clubs are right there, but honestly? The public beach access is perfectly fine and saves you a fortune. The apartment gets great light in the morning (coffee on the balcony watching the sunrise over the bay is pretty much mandatory), and the AC works well during those July-August heat waves. It’s not a luxury hotel experience – you’re doing your own cleaning and there’s no concierge – but for the price and location, especially if you want space to spread out and that incredible view without the crazy hotel rates, this place delivers exactly what it promises.
