Modern apartment – 3BR- 6P – Croisette Plage
You know what struck me first about this place? Walking up to the building on Pointe Croisette, I actually had to double-check the address because it feels way more upscale than you’d expect from a 3-star rating. I mean, you’re literally a two-minute walk from the beach here – not just any beach, but the stretch where all the festival madness happens during Cannes. The apartment itself is spacious enough that our group of six never felt cramped, which honestly surprised me given how tight most European rentals can be.
The three bedrooms are laid out really well – the master overlooks the water (you’ll fight over this one), and the other two are tucked away enough that early risers won’t wake the night owls. What I loved is how the living area opens up with these big windows that actually let in proper light, not those tiny slits you get in so many French apartments. The kitchen’s got everything you need if you want to skip the €40 breakfast down the street, though I’ll warn you – the local markets close early, so grab your groceries before 7 PM or you’ll be stuck with whatever’s left at the Monoprix.
Here’s the thing about this location that the booking sites don’t really capture: you’re right in the thick of everything during festival season (May gets absolutely insane), but the rest of the year it’s surprisingly chill. I stayed in October and could walk the Croisette at sunset without dodging crowds of tourists taking selfies every five meters. The building’s got decent soundproofing too – important because the Boulevard de la Croisette can get noisy with all the traffic and late-night revelers. Parking’s the usual Cannes nightmare, but the building has a garage spot which… honestly, that alone is worth booking for. Street parking around here costs more per day than some people’s hotel rooms. The hosts were pretty responsive when we had issues with the WiFi on day two, and check-in was smooth – they actually met us at the apartment instead of making us hunt down some random key pickup location across town like I’ve dealt with before.
