Hotel Description
Honestly, when I first walked into this apartment on Boulevard de la Croisette, I had to do a double-take at the address – you’re literally steps from where all those red carpet photos get taken during the film festival. I mean, the Palais des Festivals is right there, and you can actually see people doing their morning jogs along the famous promenade from some of the windows.
What struck me most about this place is how it manages to feel like a proper home rather than just another vacation rental. The owner clearly put thought into the details – there’s decent coffee (not that instant stuff), the shower actually has good water pressure, and the bed doesn’t make weird creaking noises when you roll over. You know what I really appreciated? The kitchen is actually functional. I’ve stayed in too many places where they give you a tiny hotplate and call it cooking facilities, but here you could genuinely make a real meal if you wanted to skip the restaurants for a night. The cosy part of the name isn’t just marketing speak either – it’s got that lived-in feeling with books on the shelves and artwork that looks like someone actually chose it, not just grabbed whatever was cheapest at the furniture store.
The location thing is pretty wild, actually. You walk out the front door and you’re on the Croisette – I timed it, maybe thirty seconds to hit the main strip. But here’s the thing about being right in the center: it can get loud during festival season and in peak summer. The double-glazed windows help, but if you’re someone who needs absolute silence to sleep, just pack earplugs. It’s worth it though, because you can walk to everything. La Malmaison is around the corner if you’re into art, and if you head toward the old port (maybe a ten-minute stroll), you’ll find way better seafood than the touristy spots right on the beach. There’s this little place called Astoux et Brun that locals actually go to – just follow the side streets down from the apartment.
Parking is… well, it’s Cannes, so parking is always going to be a thing. There are paid spots nearby, but during busy periods you might end up walking a few blocks. The trade-off is that you really don’t need a car once you’re settled in. The train station is walkable if you want to explore Nice or Monaco, and honestly, everything in Cannes proper is within walking distance from here.
I stayed during shoulder season in late September, and the whole area had this relaxed vibe – you could actually get a table at restaurants without booking days ahead, and the beaches weren’t packed shoulder to shoulder. The apartment felt like the perfect base for that kind of trip where you want to feel like you’re living somewhere rather than just visiting. With a 9.3 rating, it’s clearly not just me who thinks they’ve got something good going on here.

Everything is just perfect! Absolutely amazing! the owner and the communication with the owner are phenomenal, there is no better location if you plan to visit the Cannes Film Festival, the building is excellent and has a porter, security and comfort all in one. The apartment has everything you need, enough towels, beach towels, dishes, washing machine, even an umbrella in case of bad weather. The owner thought of everything! What makes this apartment really special is the terrace, which is absolutely divine.

The location of this apartments is excellent! Everything is walking distance, near by. The place is in a busy part of the town, but still quiet, since it has garden view. The hostel Thomas was great with his quick replies and provided excellent hospitality, thank you very much.
What could be improved: The balcony was a bit too small , but you can't change it;) otherwise we were happy with everything!V from Poland – 25 May 2024 (10/10)
