You know what really strikes you about this place? It’s tucked away on this tiny street called Impasse Ordan in Pointe Croisette, and honestly, I almost walked right past it the first time. But that’s actually perfect because it means you’re literally steps from the beach without dealing with all the chaos of the main Croisette strip where the tour buses dump everyone off.

The name pretty much tells you everything – Palm Beach really does have a gorgeous pool area, and I mean it when I say the beach is at your doorstep. We’re talking maybe a two-minute walk, if that. The pool itself is actually quite lovely, surrounded by these palm trees that give it this tropical vibe that somehow works perfectly with the French Riviera setting. I spent most mornings there with coffee before the day got too hot, and you’ll find it stays pretty quiet until around 10 AM when families start filtering down. The thing that surprised me most was how well-maintained everything felt – you know how some 4-star places can feel a bit tired? Not here. The pool area has these comfortable loungers that don’t feel like they’ve been baking in the sun for decades, and there’s actual shade when you need it.

What really sold me on this spot was the location within Cannes itself. You’re in Pointe Croisette, which means you get that exclusive beach access without the premium prices of staying right on Boulevard de la Croisette. I could walk to the Palais des Festivals in about 15 minutes, but more importantly, I could escape back to this quieter pocket when the crowds got overwhelming. The staff seemed to really know their stuff too – they pointed me toward this little bakery about three blocks away that I never would have found otherwise, and gave me the inside scoop on which beach clubs were worth the money (spoiler: most aren’t).

Parking was surprisingly manageable, which if you’ve ever driven in Cannes during festival season, you’ll understand is basically a miracle. The rooms themselves were exactly what you’d expect from a solid 4-star – clean, comfortable, good AC that actually worked. I mean, it’s not going to blow you away with luxury, but everything just works the way it should. The soundproofing was better than I expected too, considering you’re still in a busy part of Cannes. I could hear some street noise during the day, but nothing that kept me up at night. Check-in was smooth, and they were flexible about letting me store luggage after checkout, which was clutch since my train wasn’t until evening. Honestly, for the price point and that location – being able to roll out of bed and be on the beach in two minutes while still having easy access to everything Cannes offers – it’s pretty hard to beat.
