You can walk to the beach, hit the designer shops on Rue d’Antibes, or grab dinner at one of those little bistros tucked away in the old town, all without needing a taxi or dealing with parking nightmares. The Marché Forville is practically around the corner too, which is perfect if you want to grab some fresh fruit or local cheese.

The room I stayed in was exactly what you’d expect from a well-run three-star place — clean, functional, and thoughtfully laid out. Nothing fancy, but the bed was comfortable and the bathroom actually had decent water pressure (you’d be surprised how often that’s an issue in older Cannes buildings). The windows open properly, which is nice when you want that Mediterranean breeze, and there’s enough space to spread out your stuff without feeling cramped. Air conditioning works well too, which you’ll definitely appreciate during summer visits.

The Practical Stuff

What really impressed me was how smoothly everything runs here. Check-in was quick, the WiFi actually works throughout the building, and when I had a question about local bus routes, the front desk person knew exactly what I needed. There’s no restaurant on-site, but honestly, with all the incredible dining options within a five-minute walk, you don’t need one. They do provide recommendations that go beyond the obvious tourist traps — I ended up at this amazing little place serving bouillabaisse that I never would have found on my own.

  What could be improved: Communication execrable avec la conciergerie, tant dans la reactivite que par les solutions aux problemes rencontrés (remise des clés, absence de chauffage en plein hiver, aucune signalétique dans l'appartement, équipement très limitées….). Aucune réponse au téléphone sur les deux lignes proposées malgré les nombreux essais. Vous envoyez un message urgent à 18h, on vous répond le lendemain à 9h30 alors que la conciergerie est censée opérer de 6h à 22h! A fuir!

  What could be improved: The building isnt labelled so its tough to find where tghe upstairs apartment was .. the helper solved the problem on WhatsApp after we had spent twenty minutes talking together.

  The location and modern feel to the inside. Well stocked kitchen and balcony.
  
  What could be improved: The key is held offsite rather than in a lockbox at the property. I recommend vacuuming the rug and couch, as there was hair and crushed biscuits in the couch and on the rug. Don’t wear bare feet inside. Bedroom only just fits the bed and makes you laugh out loud when you see it. The shower has no door so floods every time you shower which is ridiculous.
