You know what surprised me about SeaYouSoon Inn? The name’s a bit cheesy, sure, but this little place on rue de la Pompe actually gets everything right that bigger Cannes hotels mess up. I mean, you’re literally a three-minute walk from the Palais des Festivals – I timed it because I’m weird like that – but somehow you’re tucked away on this quiet side street where you can actually sleep at night. The studio setup is honestly perfect if you’re not planning to spend much time indoors anyway. Each room has this compact kitchen area that’s way more functional than those sad hotel mini-fridges, and the whole vibe feels more like borrowing a friend’s apartment than staying in some sterile chain place.

The location thing is actually brilliant once you figure out the neighborhood. Rue de la Pompe connects you to everything without dumping you right into the tourist chaos. There’s this little bakery two doors down that opens at 6 AM – the smell of fresh croissants drifting through the windows is basically your wake-up call. Walk five minutes toward the port and you hit Marché Forville, which is where locals actually shop for food (and where you should grab supplies for that little kitchen). The beach access is ridiculously easy too – just head down toward the Croisette and you’re there, but honestly, some of the best swimming spots are tucked between the private beach clubs if you walk a bit further east. Parking can be a nightmare during festival season, but there’s usually street parking early morning or late evening, and the train station’s close enough that you might just skip the car entirely. The staff here actually knows the area – like, really knows it. They’ll tell you which restaurants are tourist traps and which bistros the film industry people sneak off to. Check-in was smooth, no weird bureaucracy, and they’re pretty flexible about luggage storage if you arrive early or leave late. The 9.1 rating makes sense when you realize this place just works without any fuss – clean, comfortable, well-located, and priced like they’re not trying to fund a yacht. During Cannes Film Festival the whole city goes absolutely insane, but staying here feels like having a quiet home base while the circus swirls around you.

  First of all, Pascal is a great host! The apartment is located very centrally and close to the beach, supermarket, bars and restaurants. It was clean and well equipped. Very good value for money.
  
  What could be improved: The apartment is located just above a cinema so you might hear some noise whenever there is an action scene. But they stop in the evening at a reasonable time so this didn’t bother too much.

  Pascal was great! Location couldnt have been better to access the Palais. Building is slightly old. But Pascal’s warmth and hospitality makes up for it. The room was super clean.

  What could be improved: Nothing special, only take a look at parking distance in advance because there are a lot of public parking not so far but you cant’t stop the car close to the entrance.

  Pascal is a great host, readily available, helpful, and kind. This was my first trip to France, and the location of SeaYouSoon couldn't be better. Close to many restaurants, bars, supermarkets, and the Croisette. The easy access to the Cannes Gare made travel to Nice easy. The room was a perfect size for one person, and it was very clean.
