Studio neuf parking piscine à Cannes
You know what? I wasn’t expecting much from a studio apartment listing, but this little place on Chemin du Périer actually surprised me. It’s tucked away in this quiet residential area that feels properly French – not the touristy Cannes most people see along the Croisette. The building itself is one of those typical Côte d’Azur complexes with that cream-colored stucco, and honestly, apartment 308 in building C feels like staying at a friend’s place who happens to live in the South of France.
The studio is genuinely new – I mean, everything still has that fresh smell, and the fixtures haven’t been worn down by countless previous guests yet. What really sold me though was stepping out and realizing there’s actually a proper pool area. Not some tiny plunge pool, but a decent-sized one where you can swim actual laps if you want. The parking situation is gold too, which anyone who’s driven around Cannes will tell you is basically a miracle. You’re far enough from the madness of downtown that you won’t hear drunk tourists stumbling around at 3 AM, but close enough that you can walk to the good stuff – maybe 15 minutes to get to the real Cannes action, or you can hop on one of the local buses that run pretty regularly along this route.
Here’s the thing about this area that I didn’t realize until I’d been there a few days: you’re actually living like locals do. There’s a little boulangerie about five minutes walk away where the same woman works every morning (get the pain au chocolat, seriously), and a small Monoprix for groceries that doesn’t charge tourist prices. The Chemin du Périer itself is one of those winding roads that climbs up from the main part of town, so you get these glimpses of the Mediterranean between the buildings as you walk up. The apartment faces the right direction too – you’ll get morning light without the brutal afternoon sun that can make these places feel like ovens in summer. I stayed there in late spring and it was perfect, though I imagine July and August might get pretty warm even with decent ventilation. The setup is smart for what it is – everything you need without feeling cramped, and the kitchen actually has proper appliances, not those tiny European versions that barely work. If you’re planning to spend most of your time exploring Cannes and the surrounding area but want a clean, quiet base that won’t drain your budget like the fancy hotels near the Palais des Festivals, this hits that sweet spot perfectly.
