Look, I’ve stayed at plenty of places in Cannes, but this house on Rue de Moscou? It’s honestly something else entirely. You know what struck me first – it’s not actually a hotel at all, but this gorgeous six-bedroom villa that feels like you’re crashing at your ridiculously successful friend’s place. The Carnot neighborhood isn’t where most tourists end up (they’re all fighting for spots near the Croisette), which is exactly why this works so well.

The whole setup is pretty brilliant, actually. Four full bathrooms mean you’re not doing that awkward dance in the hallway with your travel companions, and the terraces – well, there are multiple ones, each catching different light throughout the day. I spent most mornings on the east-facing one with coffee, watching the neighborhood wake up. The billiard room is legit too, not some tiny table squeezed into a corner. We ended up playing until way too late most nights, and honestly, the sound doesn’t carry much to the bedrooms, so people could actually sleep. The whole place feels lived-in but pristine, if that makes sense – like someone’s beloved family home that just happens to be available for rent.

Here’s the thing about this location that most people don’t realize: Rue de Moscou puts you in this sweet spot where you’re genuinely in a residential French neighborhood, but you can still walk to the train station in about ten minutes. The local boulangerie around the corner (I mean literally around the corner) opens at 6:30 and has better croissants than half the hotel breakfast spreads in town. Parking was surprisingly manageable – there’s street parking that doesn’t cost a fortune, and the neighbors seemed used to people coming and going. During the festival season, I imagine this place books up fast because you get that authentic Cannes living experience without the tourist trap pricing of beachfront hotels. The house sleeps twelve comfortably, which makes it perfect for families or groups who want to actually spend time together instead of just meeting up in cramped hotel lobbies. That 9.5 rating isn’t just marketing fluff – this place delivers on what it promises, and then some.

  Superbe et magnifique maison. Elle peut être séparée en 2 si vous êtes un petit groupe (2 étages). La terrasse est spacieuse et en plein soleil et le sous-sol est incroyable (salle de jeux, bar, etc..). Elle est très bien située (une vingtaine de minutes à pied du centre de Cannes) et dans un quartier résidentiel très calme. Elle est proche de l'autoroute si vous êtes en voiture.
  La personne qui nous a donné les clés était très sympa et arrangeante.
  Je recommande vraiment ce logement si vous souhaitez passer un agréable séjour à Cannes.
