You know what struck me first about this place? It’s actually perched right on the top floor – and I mean, when they say “sea view,” they’re not kidding around. From that terrace, you’re looking straight out over the Mediterranean, and honestly, it’s one of those views that makes you pause mid-conversation. The apartment itself sits in the Résidence Cannes Beach complex, which is tucked away from the main Boulevard de la Croisette chaos but still close enough that you can walk to all the action in about ten minutes. I mean, you’re literally a stone’s throw from Plage du Martinez, and if you know Cannes at all, you know that’s prime real estate territory.

The setup here is pretty sweet – it’s a proper apartment, not just a hotel room with a mini-fridge, so you’ve got actual space to spread out. The terrace becomes your morning coffee spot (trust me on this), and there’s something really satisfying about having two pools to choose from depending on your mood. One tends to get busier with families during the day, while the other stays quieter – locals seem to know this trick too. The building itself has that sort of French Riviera apartment vibe, nothing too fancy but solid and well-maintained. Parking can be a bit of a dance during festival season – well, everything in Cannes becomes a dance during festival season – but the rest of the year it’s pretty manageable.

What I really appreciated was how the place feels like you’re living in Cannes rather than just visiting. You’ve got the Forville market just a short walk away (go early, around 8 AM, before the crowds hit), and you’re close enough to the old town that you can actually explore those winding streets behind the port without feeling like you need to make it a whole expedition. The apartment gets those lovely evening breezes that come off the water, which is clutch during summer months when the lower floors can feel a bit stuffy. Is it the most luxurious place you’ll ever stay? Probably not – it’s a solid 3-star spot with a 7 rating, so set your expectations accordingly. But here’s the thing: sometimes you want the view and the space and the feeling of having your own little corner of the Côte d’Azur without paying Hôtel Martinez prices. The terrace alone makes it worth it, especially if you’re the type who likes to start the day slowly with coffee and that ridiculous Mediterranean light streaming in.
