It’s tucked away on Boulevard d’Alsace in this quiet residential pocket that feels completely removed from the Cannes chaos, but you’re actually just a ten-minute walk from the Palais des Festivals. I mean, when you step out onto that little balcony in the morning with your coffee, you hear birds instead of traffic – which honestly wasn’t what I expected in the middle of Cannes.

The studio itself is one of those places that just works. Nothing fancy, but everything’s been thought through by someone who actually gets what travelers need. The bed’s comfortable (not too soft, thank god), there’s proper counter space in the kitchenette, and the shower has decent water pressure – you’d be amazed how often that’s not the case in European studios. The balcony isn’t huge, but it catches the afternoon sun perfectly, and I found myself eating breakfast out there every morning. The whole vibe is clean and modern without being sterile, if that makes sense. Plus, the Wi-Fi actually works throughout the space, which saved me during a few work calls.

What really sold me on this place though is the location – it’s in the Carnot neighborhood, which locals know but tourists often miss. You’re close enough to walk to La Croisette when you want that glamorous Cannes experience, but you can also just pop around the corner to Rue Meynadier for groceries or grab dinner at one of those family-run bistros that don’t jack up prices during film festival season. The train station’s maybe fifteen minutes on foot, which was perfect when I did a day trip to Nice. Parking can be tricky in this area – like most of Cannes, honestly – but there’s usually street parking if you’re patient, and the host was super helpful about explaining the local parking zones. One tiny thing: the walls are a bit thin, so you might hear your neighbors occasionally, but it wasn’t anything that kept me awake. Actually, the whole building seems well-maintained and quiet overall. With a 9.8 rating, I get why people keep coming back here – it’s that rare find where the photos don’t oversell it, the price feels fair, and you end up recommending it to friends without any hesitation.
