The terrace pool actually has serious views – I mean, you’re looking straight out at the Lérins Islands while floating around, which honestly beats most hotel rooftops I’ve been on. This three-room apartment sits on avenue Font de Veyre, and if you know Cannes at all, you’ll recognize this as one of those quieter residential streets that’s still walking distance to everything but doesn’t have the chaos of La Croisette.

The space itself feels more like staying at a well-off friend’s place than a typical rental. Three proper rooms means you’re not tripping over each other’s suitcases, and the kitchen actually has everything you need – I’m talking real knives and decent pans, not the usual plastic nonsense. The terrace is where you’ll spend most of your time though, especially in the evenings when the light hits those islands just right. Fair warning: the pool’s not huge, more like a sophisticated plunge situation, but honestly that’s perfect for cooling off after walking around Cannes all day. Parking can be a bit tricky on this street – it’s that typical French residential parking where you’re doing three-point turns between tiny spaces, but there are spots if you’re patient.

What I really appreciated was how quiet it gets at night, especially compared to staying near the port or the main hotel strip. You’re maybe a 15-minute walk to the Palais des Festivals, which means you can actually escape the tourist madness when you want to. The neighborhood has that lived-in feel – there’s a decent bakery two streets over on rue d’Antibes, and you’ll see locals walking their dogs in the morning rather than just tourists with cameras. The 8.1 rating makes sense to me; it’s genuinely comfortable and the views are spectacular, but the furnishings are nice rather than luxurious, and the building itself shows its age in small ways – think slightly creaky floors and that particular French plumbing quirk where the shower pressure varies. But honestly, when you’re sitting on that terrace with a glass of wine watching the sunset paint the Mediterranean, those details fade pretty quickly. It’s the kind of place that makes you feel like you’re actually living in Cannes for a few days instead of just passing through.

  We liked the view, especially from the balcony. The pool was excellent and never too busy. The showers were very good and powerful. The kitchen was well equipped. The beds were comfortable and air conditioning excellent.
  
  What could be improved: The second bedroom was a bit small and having the shower in the bedroom meant a lack of privacy.

  What could be improved: We were robbed by rubbers that entered the apartment while we sleeping. They damaged some walls ans cupboards. The managers were indifferent and didn’t bother to send someone for inspection. They later charged us 1400euro for damages. We waited for them to come for the checkout and they didn’t ! Be aware of these silly ways of cheating the customers. No pictures were even provided for the damage despite our several request. Do not recommend

  perfekte Lage, sofern man Ruhe vorzieht. Cannes ist fussläufig in ca. 40 Minuten zu erreichen. Mit dem Auto ca. 10 Minuten. Das Apartment bietet einen außergewöhnlichen Ausblick aufs Meer.
